Foundry Coffee Roasters is a Sheffield speciality roaster based at Cutlery Works, the food hall in Neepsend. The roastery and cafe share the same site, with cafe hours running 9am to 4pm on weekdays and 10am to 3pm at weekends.

The business was founded in 2012 and has been a Real Living Wage employer since 2018. Foundry roasts an exclusively single origin range with no blends, and publishes a blog post setting out why blending sits at odds with how it views speciality coffee.

Greenhouse gas emissions have been measured and offset since 2020, and packaging uses post-consumer waste and other recycled materials. Recent releases include coffees from Rwanda, Colombia and Costa Rica, with a Popayan decaf in the line up.

Roasting takes place on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday, the next shipping date is shown on the site, and a loyalty points scheme runs for returning customers.
