Grounds Roastery is the coffee roasting operation of Grounds Cafes, a small family run chain of cafes based in country parks and forests, located above the cafe in the grounds of Milton Country Park, Cambridge. The business began in 2001 when Kevin and Racheal launched as the Cambridge Coffee Company from the back room of a bike shop in Cambridge, moved to country park locations from 2007 under the slogan "Great Coffee for the Great Outdoors", and rebranded as Grounds in 2016, opening a ninth location in July 2022.
The coffee range includes a Signature Blend, a Grounds Blend, a Brazilian single origin and a decaf single origin, sold alongside brewing kit such as an Aeropress and a ceramic V60. Alongside coffee, the business runs cafes, a gelato range, meeting room hire and cycle centres with bike hire.
