Hard Lines Coffee

Hard Lines Coffee is a Cardiff-based speciality coffee roaster celebrating its tenth year in 2026. The roastery sits at Gwaelod y Garth, CF15 8LA, supplying the brand's own café in Canton and its market stall inside Cardiff Central Market, alongside wholesale partners, subscription customers and an online retail operation.

The current line-up spans single origins from Colombia, Tanzania and China plus house blends including House Party, Canton Blend and an anniversary Birthday Party coffee, with a flavour-led decaf called I Heart Decaf. The brand has a clear personality: Welsh roots, a Run Club, barista courses, and a tone that is direct and self-aware.

Hard Lines is a 1% for the Planet member and a Real Living Wage Foundation employer, with a stated focus on reforestation and ocean and wildlife protection. Wholesale starts at a 6kg minimum and includes equipment, training and account support.

The roastery is open to retail visitors Monday to Thursday, 9am to 3pm.
