Quantum Coffee Roasters is a Cardiff roastery and cafe business run by Katia and Dimitri, who opened the original Cardiff Bay site at 58 Bute Street in 2015 and added a second cafe opposite Cardiff Castle at 6-7 Duke Street in 2023. The couple roast by hand in Cardiff Bay and source from an unusually wide spread of origins, including Jamaica Blue Mountain, Hawaii Kona, the Philippines, Yemen, Galapagos and Australia, alongside more familiar Latin American and African producers.

A defining strand of the business is its women producers programme, which began in 2015 through a relationship with the Cafe Femenino Cooperative in Peru and has grown since. Decaf is offered in Mountain Water and Swiss Water processes, with named lots including Mexico Finca La Laja.

Home compostable coffee pods sit alongside whole bean and ground retail. The business runs a wholesale supply line and a subscription, and both Cardiff sites are open to walk-in visitors.
