Imperial Jade Coffee is a Kent-based roaster sourcing exclusively from Yunnan province in China, a coffee-growing region almost absent from the UK speciality scene. Founder Henry started the business after tasting Yunnan coffee on his travels and finding nothing comparable on his return.
The roastery operates from Seal Chart, near Sevenoaks, with two house roasts: Jizu Roast, a medium-roasted Yunnan Purple Cherry from ZhiXiang Estate on Mount Jizu, and Fuxian Roast. Beyond direct-to-consumer sales, Imperial Jade supplies boutiques, farm shops and delis, offers white-label and bespoke roast profiles, and supports wholesale partners with equipment sourcing, calibration and tasting events.
Bags are stocked locally at The Pink Kitchen in Westerham and Slade Fitness in Seal. The site publishes brew guides and origin background, with no cafe of its own.
