Paddy & Scott's is a Suffolk coffee roaster founded in 2007, when Paddy and Scott started out on a two kilo roaster nicknamed Old Smokey. The business has since relocated its HQ to Ipswich Waterfront, with a flagship coffee shop and an Ambition Academy at the University of Suffolk, and runs a Barista Academy launched in 2016.

Sourcing is built around a direct trade relationship with the Muchomba family on Mount Kenya, established in 2017 as a commercial joint venture and now producing enough coffee for more than a million cups a year. Other origins on the range include Brazil, Ethiopia, Vietnam, India and Colombia, with Fairtrade, Rainforest Alliance and UTZ certifications referenced across the supply chain.

Coffee bags are made from compostable potato starch and the Nespresso compatible pods use recyclable LDPE4 or PP5 plastic. The Lunch Box product line funds school meals in coffee-growing communities, with a live counter on the homepage tracking meals provided.
