Round Hill Roastery has been roasting in Somerset since 2012, working from Unit 14 at Midsomer Enterprise Park near Bath. The team is small and treats the offer list as a seasonal menu that follows global harvest cycles rather than a fixed year-round range.
Coffees are roasted on a direct-flame Probat, a traditional drum machine, with a Scandinavian-influenced approach that prioritises clarity, brightness and origin character. Sourcing is built around long-term relationships with named partners including the Nola Wonga farmers group, Juan Saldarriaga, Gitesi Washing Station and the Santa Maria Collective, with origins from Colombia, Ethiopia and Rwanda among others.
Round Hill commits to volume on key partnerships, including microlots, and pays well over C-market prices to support quality at origin. Single-estate coffees sit alongside experimental processing lots, and bags ship in letterbox-friendly, recyclable packaging.
