Smith's Coffee has been roasting since 1936, making it one of the oldest coffee businesses in the UK. It started as a small local roaster in Mill Hill, operating out of a family-run grocery store serving local Londoners, and is now run by third-generation Managing Director Colin Smith from Arabica House in Hemel Hempstead.

Colin is a founder-member of the SCAE (now SCA) and serves as an Ambassador and Trainer. The range is unusually broad: heritage blends, single origins, flavoured coffees, the Capetti biodegradable Nespresso-compatible capsule line, organic and Fairtrade options, and a tea range.

Customers can visit the on-site cafe and have a coffee while their order is freshly roasted. The site is certified across SALSA, Soil Association, NCC Organic, Fairtrade, Rainforest Alliance and Kosher.
