Smith Street Coffee roasts in Sheffield from Unit 1 at Hope Works on Sussex Road, where it also runs a cafe open to visitors. The range covers light to medium-dark single origins and blends, with current lots from Colombia, Indonesia, Uganda, Brazil and Mexico, plus a Mountain Water decaf sourced from smallholder producers in Chiapas via Descamex.

Multiple coffees have won Great Taste awards. The roastery sources through a mix of importers, exporters, farmers and collectives with environmental strategies in place.

Bags are fully recyclable and CO2 neutral, and the cafe uses compostable cups and lids. Smith Street is a Specialty Coffee Association member, a Roasters Guild member and a Living Wage employer.

Subscriptions, online retail and wholesale supply are all available.
