Symposium Coffee

Symposium Coffee is a small Norwich roastery run by Steven and his wife Catriona from Unit 21C on the Hellesdon Park Industrial Estate. The roastery holds Smithsonian Bird Friendly certification, one of the more rigorous environmental standards in the speciality sector, which requires shade-grown coffee on farms maintaining canopy cover for migratory birds.

Steven sources directly from farms he has personally visited, with the standing blend built on Latin American coffees offering a classic dark chocolate and hazelnut profile, and a Discovery range bringing in varied lots from other origins. The roastery is open to visitors by appointment, with limited hours that depend on the weekly roasting schedule.
