Yallah Coffee

Yallah Coffee is a single origin specialty roaster based in Cornwall with a stated mission to put honesty and social responsibility before profit. The business has worked directly with producers in Nicaragua and Brazil for seven years and uses trusted importers when direct sourcing is not possible.

Named partners include the Tinamit Co-op and El Recuerdo in Nicaragua. Yallah publishes its coffee buying standards publicly, covering social, economic and environmental criteria, and ships some coffee to the UK by sail to reduce supply chain carbon.

Packaging has moved to paper bags after a previous run with recyclable plastic, and the site states the operation is 100 percent plastic free. The roastery offers retail subscriptions, wholesale and a network of cafe locations, and was named Best Coffee Subscription for Gifting by The Independent.
