Artisan Roast has been roasting specialty coffee in Edinburgh since 2007, one of Scotland's longest standing independents. The business is built on direct sourcing and long term relationships with producers across more than twenty growing countries, with a stated focus on price transparency to farm gate where possible and a multi tier quality model that spans gourmet blends through to rare nano lots.

Five cafes now operate across the city, in Broughton Street, Leith Walk, Bruntsfield, Stockbridge and St James Quarter, supported by a roastery and training lab at Peffermill Business Park and a sister operation in Chile that supplies South America. Sustainability is treated as a core programme rather than a side note, with recyclable bags, reusable wholesale containers, and a co founding role in Circular Coffee Scotland.

Spent grounds are routed to local farmers, mushroom growers and product makers. The range covers filter and espresso profiles, including a Swiss Water decaf, with subscriptions, wholesale and gift options.
