Fortitude Coffee was established in Edinburgh in 2014 and now runs a roastery alongside two cafés, at 66 Hamilton Place (EH3 5AZ) and 4 Abbey Mount (EH8 8EJ). The brand frames coffee as a daily companion for resilience and kindness rather than a performance product, and describes its roasting style as sweet, balanced and delicious.

The range leans heavily on seasonal single origins, with current and recent lots from Rwanda, Ethiopia, Colombia, Kenya and Mexico, sourced through partners including Raw Material and Muharo Trading Company and named washing stations and estates such as Shyira, Worka Wuri, Kercha, Idido, Las Nubes, El Buho and Kamundu. Decaf is offered via the El Buho lot, processed using sugarcane decaffeination.

Customers can buy through online retail and a subscription, and the two Edinburgh cafés open daily from morning to late afternoon. No B Corp, organic or Fairtrade certifications are claimed on the site.
