Greenhill Coffee Roasters is a family business based in Cinderford, in the Forest of Dean, Gloucestershire. It began in 1987, when founder Barry Constable set out to roast good coffee and supply it to local cafes, pubs and wholesalers, and the business committed early to organic and fairly traded beans, registering for Fairtrade certification as soon as it became available in the UK.
Greenhill mainly roasts 100 percent Arabica beans on a traditional Probat drum roaster, alongside Arabica Robusta blends, and lists a Colombian single origin among its coffees. Beans are sold whole or ground in various pack sizes, and the business also offers custom blends and private label roasting for cafes, hotels and other venues, plus equipment such as espresso machines, grinders and bean to cup systems for commercial customers.
The business states that its products are palm oil free.
