Roaring Stag Coffee

Roaring Stag Coffee is a speciality roastery based at Ballater Business Park in Royal Deeside, Aberdeenshire, surrounded by the Cairngorm Mountains. It was founded in 2015 by Ruaridh, who set up the operation after 14 years in the British Army.

The roastery works in small batches and sources its green coffee through trusted importers who, in its own words, share a commitment to fair and sustainable sourcing. The current line-up spans single origin lots from Kenya and India, including a Monsoon Malabar, alongside blends and a Swiss Water decaf.

All packaging is described as fully recyclable. The Cairngorms location and the founder's military background give the operation a distinct identity within the Scottish speciality scene, which is otherwise concentrated in the central belt.
