Routes Coffee is an Oxford roaster, based in an industrial unit at Fenchurch Court, and the UK's first and only Certified Regenified Coffee Roaster. The company grew out of a journey by two friends who returned from Australia with a deep appreciation for specialty coffee, then travelled through more than 30 countries learning from farmers, roasters and baristas before setting up in the UK.

That direct exposure shapes their buying. They source directly from producers who share their commitment to ethical and sustainable practices, with a particular emphasis on those working with permaculture.

Roasting is done on Giesen W6 and W30 machines, with the range covering single origins, micro-lots and blends, alongside a Brazil Cerrado Swiss Water decaf and Nespresso-compatible pods. Coffee is shipped in compostable packaging, and the team are working towards becoming a carbon-neutral company.

Beyond the online shop, Routes runs subscriptions, wholesale, and a 1989 Bedford Rascal van that pours at festivals, pop-ups and exhibitions.
