Coffee roasters in Scottish Borders

Scottish Borders has 3 independent coffee roasters. Three Hills Coffee runs a roastery and a purpose built SCA barista training facility in the Borders, capable of delivering the full range of SCA courses. Luckie Beans is a family run roastery founded in 2015 by Jamie and Esther McLuckie, based in Galashiels and roasting on a Giesen W15A with data logging software profiling each batch. Braw Beans operates from Peebles and is one of a small number of UK roasters using air roasting (a fluid bed of hot air) rather than the more common drum roasting method.

The Scottish Borders are best reached by car. Peebles (Braw Beans), Galashiels (Luckie Beans) and Three Hills' Borders facility cluster within reach for a Borders day trip.
